Robert Kubica back to Formula 1. The official news came in the night: the Polish piloteight years after his last race, he will sit in the cockpit of the Williams. Until now the third driver of the British team, Kubica decided to give himself a new 'career' in F1. Especially after the last twelve months, with the very few results achieved by the drivers behind the wheel of the FW40.
Eight years have passed since that terrible accidentin a competition of rally by Andorain which the pilot was seriously injured. He sustained multiple injuries to a hand, shoulder and right arm. An injury that forced him out of the top series. A forced retirement, during which Kubica he dedicated himself to a slow rehabilitation, before 'appearing' again on circuits all over the world, but as a third driver. A physical and psychological job for a professional like him, who could however count on his many supporters.
And here is the good news, a dream for all his fans who have always encouraged and supported him in difficult times.
